Launched in 2005, Soul Curry was first ever food caravan serving street food of Indian metros, mainly from Mumbai. Famous Wada pav, Pav bhaji Chaats and varieties of Dosas and snacks were available for the first in New Zealand. The wait for best Indian street food was over. It was great crowd puller, pleasing the patrons. This changed whole scenario of Indian restaurants and eateries serving Indian food. It opened up niche market and demand for street food and snacks. With the success of this project, big players followed suit and some famous Indian restaurant franchise entered New Zealand market.
